Lita Rossana Ford, also known as Lita Ford is an American musician, singer and guitarist who was born in Britain. She was the lead guitarist as a member of The Runaways, a hard-rock group made up of females in the late 1970s. Their punk rock music and raunchy lyrics made them noticed by the rock community. It was not possible for the band to be popular in America, however, they enjoyed a great deal of attention in other countries and in particular Japan.
