Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her works. She advocates the rights of animals. Her movies are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). Her desire to be an artist was inspired from her childhood as a member of an New York family of artists. The first job she had was an assistant to photographers. After that, she switched to modelling and acting. She was noticed in two of her films and received Golden Globe Award for Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw became an international star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. In just three films, MacGraw was declared as the top female performer in box office history. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 as well as her signature were inscribed at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television show The Winds of War. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw married three people.
