Lisa Olivia Munn is a native of Oklahoma City. Her mother, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam as well, and she has Chinese ancestry, while her father, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with strong roots within The American South. Olivia was only two when her parents separated. Her family consisted of her stepfather as well as her mother who was a United States Air Force member. The family emigrated to Oklahoma, and lived in various locations, however she spent the bulk of her childhood in Tokyo. When she was in Japan, she appeared as a local actress in shows and eventually turned into a Japanese fashion model. After the family returned to the United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her aspirations of becoming a professional actress. After a few tiny roles on television shows featuring Hawaii lenses (such as Beyond the Break), she was able to land the role of Mily Acuna. She was also offered Rob Schneider's receptionist for Big Stan. Her show is hosted by G4 podcasts like "The Daily Nut," "Formula D,"" along with "Formula D." The sport of surfing is a passion for her as she has practiced it ever since she appeared on the television show Beyond the Break (2006). Additionally, she holds an unofficial black belt in Taekwondo. At the age of two, her mother married again, but this time with a US Air Force member. While the family was relocated several times, the majority of her time was spent in Tokyo Japan which was the place in which her father worked for the military. Attended her studies at University of Oklahoma, where she studied journalism, and minored in Japanese as well as dramatic arts.
