Hayley is an American performer and actress. People are familiar with her because of her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular TV show 'The Goldbergs.' Although she's a singer but her main passion is music. Music is the first passion she maintains; it is something she's dabbled in since she was only 9 years old. At the age of 12 the world of music had become significant enough that she was able to start training professionally. She began songwriting when she was 13, and she was just 14 when she released her debut album of covers songs. There hasn't been a turning around since. Orrantia is of Hispanic origins, but was born in the USA. She has Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English as a child and lived her life in America. She strives to keep it alive by becoming fluent in Spanish and creating songs in the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte," which she composed in Spanish is an example of this. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was chosen out of a YouTube video that she submitted and got the judges' four "yes" votes from judges during the live audition phase held in Seattle, Washington. She was originally an individual performer. However, in the course of "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were put in groups to take part in the auditions. They were eliminated from the show during the fifth live week.
