Hayley Orrantia, an American actress, singer and songwriter. Most people recognise her as Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series 'The Goldbergs'. She is primarily an actor. She maintains that music is her first passion. It's something she has been dabbling in since the age of nine years old. The first time she began to study music professionally when she was 12 years old. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was 14 when she recorded her debut album of covers songs. The rest is history. Orrantia is a native of America who has Hispanic origins. She's proud of the existence of Hispanic origins, despite speaking English only, and did not live in Mexico. To preserve the heritage she's enrolled in Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs using the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte," a track that she wrote in Spanish is an example of this. Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its first season, in summer 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was picked through YouTube videos and got an average of four "yeses," from judges who were in Seattle in the live audition stage. Her initial audition was an individual performer. However, after "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were added to an ensemble to go through the auditions. The live shows were held during the week of 5th.
