Cecily Legler Strong is a popular American actor and stand-up comedian famous as a prominent cast member of 'Saturday Night Live'. When she took an improv course when she was nine years old, she began her career as an actor. She had a dream of making the career of an actor however, she soon realized that she was in the right place for comedy. She then shifted her focus towards improvised performances. Her first stage was as a cruise ship performer with crew members from Second City Conservatory, iO Chicago as well as other improv groups. Strong has performed at popular festivals, including Chicago Sketch Fest. The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. New York Sketchfest. Then there's Virgin Daiquiri. Virgin Daiquiri is an all-female Improv group. The year 2012 was the year she was the news when she starred on "Saturday Night live.' She co-anchored the Weekend Update segment with Seth Meyers initially, and later with Colin Jost. One of her most memorable moments was in"The Girl that you'd rather not have started conversations with at a party'. That same year she began her film career with the short film "How to sponsor a Uterus'. She criticized the way women are treated as bikini models, and as girlfriends in the movies of Hollywood instead of strong female characters.
